Meet Toyia Watkins-Bedeau
Understanding Her Worth was created from Toyia’s passion to inspire women and teen girls to embrace their God-given worth. As an author, speaker, and advocate for this topic she has devoted much of her time to promoting healthy relationships and building self-esteem.
Born in Fort Lauderdale and raised in Immokalee, Florida, Toyia’s story is one of perseverance and faith. Her personal experiences and intentional connection to God and her community has shaped her mission to help women break free from toxic entanglements, while discovering their value, and seeing life and relationships through the lens of a new prescription.
The Mission
Understanding Her Worth exists to empower women and teenage girls to uncover their value through the lens of faith and biblical wisdom. The organization is built on the belief that true self-worth stems from knowing who you are, whose you are, and the purpose God has set before you. Through transformative live events, inspiring resources, and meaningful conversations, women will be transformed and equipped with the tools to cultivate self-respect and build healthy relationships. integrity.
